Three Faces of Power

This event was hosted by Youth First Just Collaborative, Movement for Family Power, the Community Resource Hub, and Grassroots Power Project.

The word “organizing” gets thrown around a lot, but what does it actually mean? Organizing is how we build collective power: bringing more people into the fight, building the leadership of impacted people, and winning change that our communities demand.

This virtual session on the "Three Faces of Power" framework is designed to help community-based organizations understand and build power through direct action, infrastructure development, and ideological influence. It promotes a strategic, justice-oriented approach to power-building that goes beyond resistance to foster long-term, values-driven systemic change.
