This event is hosted by upEND Movement.

How can we keep children safe without relying on police or Child Protective Services?

Join upEND Movement for We Protect Our Kids: Reclaiming Safety, a virtual workshop facilitated by zara raven, a Caribbean queer care worker, transformative justice practitioner, and zinester based in Philadelphia.

Building on upEND Movement's Reclaiming Safety series and The upEND Podcast, this interactive workshop will explore why harm to children occurs and encourage participants to brainstorm ways to intervene without policing.

Participants will gain greater confidence in implementing abolitionist practices and creating community-based approaches to keeping children safe.

This workshop is open to everyone interested in taking an active role in creating safety for children.
